Telecommunications Policy

Unless an SVA staff member has given permission for students to use their communication device for educational purposes, all communication devices must be turned off from 7:50 am - 2:50pm with the exception of middle school lunch, as permitted by administrators. All devices must be stored in a secure place (school bag). Students may not use their cell phone to call home. If students need to call home, they can call from a school phone. The use of communication devices is banned at all times on school buses and during any assigned detention. The school and/or district accept no responsibility for use, breakage, theft or loss of personal items or devices. By choosing to allow your child to bring any type of
communication device/technology/cell phone to school, parents/legal guardians agree and support the District Policy.
